John's Thoughts
There are times when something works and you just don't want to change. This sock is very much that way. It isn't modern in any way, it is the sock you might have worn a few decades ago. In fact, this sock is made in the exact same mill in Sheboygan Wisconsin. Same knitting machines too.
The term "sweat sock" isn't often used now. But when these socks were building a reputation, that is exactly what they were called. They are made of 60% wool and 40% nylon, just like the old days.
While these are considered a white sock, they're not white like a cotton sock. Since they're made of natural wool, the appearance is more of a natural white than a true white.
