Sockspert Sam
My name is Sam, and I was once a non-believer. I used to go to to the big box discount retailers and buy the cheapest socks I could find. My experience had always been that my socks would wear thin within six months regardless of whether I purchased the cheapest or spent a few bucks more. Never again!
My first pair of Wigwam socks was the Cool-Lite Hiker Pro Quarter, and to this day it is still one of my favorite socks. The first time I wore them was to play golf and I can't tell you how much difference it made. It was like I bought a brand new pair of cushiony golf shoes. It is over a year later and I still have that pair and they are still holding up, even after several rounds of golf, basketball, and daily wear.
After that I was convinced to buy Wigwam socks when replacing my old socks. Every now and again I'll buy a specialty sock, such as the Blue Ox (wonderful for ice fishing) or Ironman® Triathlete Pro (helps with blisters when running).
True story... Last year the boss man gave each of our three kids a pair of the Youth Merino Comfort Hikers. The kids absolutely loved them. During winter last year our six year old son was having issues getting his shoes on for school. He asked my wife for help and she notice he had two pairs of socks on; underneath were his Comfort Hikers, and over the top were some run of the mill crew socks. When asked why he was wearing two pair, he said he wore two pair for the last couple days because mom had told him to take the Wigwam socks off to be washed. He said they were the warmest and most comfortable socks and didn't want to take them off. Needless to say we picked up a couple more pair :-)
Our family loves their Wigwam socks, and we're sure you will too!
