Ankle/Low-Cut Length Ankle/Low-Cut Length: The Wigwam Cool Lite Hiker rides just below your ankle bone. The sock will cover most running shoes but won't show too much sock above the shoe.

This sock fits true to size. With the thin terry loop cushioning on only the bottom of the foot, this sock has a very low total bulk. This allows a little extra room on tighter shoes. This thin sock allows you to have less squirm between your foot and shoe.

This sock is constructed with primarily Dri-release and X20 Acrylic. These man-made fabrics have a super soft feel but wear like iron. The Dri-release acts to promote the movement of moisture out of your foot. The X20 Acrylic moderates the temperature of your foot.

Sockspert Opinions

John's Thoughts

While I’m a self professed natural fiber wearer, for some reason, my feet really like the Cool-Lite Pro's Dri-release material. My feet stay nice and dry. In many man-made fibers, my feet get all clammy and nasty, not so with these. I wear them golfing or with my running shoes when I work out. The low-cut covers my feet but doesn’t show too much sock. These socks have a softer feel than most athletic socks.

These socks are relatively thin. Thin in the summer is definitely better for me. Who needs a big “poofy” sock in the summer? Also, the thin sock gives me a little extra room on my tighter shoes. In fact, right now I’m wearing a pair of kind of retro pansy-looking low top hemp sneaks and for some reason they run a little small (and unlike leather shoes, hemp doesn’t stretch). So instead of returning the shoes, I just wear my Cool-Lite Pro socks so I get a little extra room for my dogs.

In short, I really like these socks. I own many pairs in white. One thing that I've noticed over the years, the bottom of the socks don't stay as white as cotton socks. They are clean, but not as clean-looking on the bottom as plain cotton athletic socks. No worries for me though, this is still my favorite light athletic sock.

You'll notice that we have a very wide range of these socks in the white color. The more girly colors we only have in the Medium size for the ladies. Sorry guys, if you want pastel athletic socks, you will have to look elsewhere.
